Schneeberg
The Schneeberg is the highest mountain oft the Fichtelgebirge. It is near Tröstau, Bischofsgrün, Fichtelberg
and Weißenstadt. The US Army built a tower and a military base during the Cold War there.
Ochsenkopf
The Ochsenkopf is the second highest mountain of the Fichtelgebirge. It is near Warmensteinach,
Fichtelberg, Bischofsgrün and Mehlmeisel. At the top of the mountain there is a restaurant.
Kösseine
At the Kösseine there is a rock labyrinth with two trails which pass huge granite rock formations. From the
tower which is at the summit you can enjoy a marvelous view over the whole Fichtelgebirge. There is also an
inn where you have the opportunity to stay at night.
Seehaus und Nusshardt
The Seehaus is a restaurant in which you can enjoy the culinary delights of Upper Franconia, Bavaria. Within
a few minutes footwalk you reach the top of the Nusshardt. Many tourists visit the Nusshardt every year for its
famous block of rocks and for the spectacular view over the complete Fichtelgebirge. It´s next to Fichtelberg
and Tröstau.
Epprechtstein
At the top of the Epprechtstein there is a castle ruin and at the foot of it you can walk through a labyrinth of
huge granite blocks.
Zwölfgipfelblick
The Zwölfgipfelblick in Röslau is in the heart of the Fichtelgebirge. It´s a viewpoint where you can see all
twelve mountains of the Fichtelgebirge.
